Yesterday I noticed that Flipkart have extended their range of goods to include portable audio and media players.

I'm particularly impressed to see the lineup of Cowon models available.

As it is only used a couple of times a year, for flights and trains, I have no justification for replacing my A2. I wish I had!

Thanks for the info on the prices.

Whilst I understand that Apple has a mania for locking in, it surprises me that their machines have a problem with something that would look just like an external disk.

Mind you, I speak as someone who has no Apple kit, and would not give iTunes diskspace on any machine. Others, of course, do not feel the same ;)

Cowons sound good!

I am using Windows 7 and have itunes installed(though I have sold off itouch within week of buying it).
itunes is very good software for "tagging" music (atleast to me).
itunes has no problem with Cowon but Mac OSX creates ghost files when Cowon is connected with it resulting in a bricked Cowon.

Yes it is slightly expensive at Flipkart but I have belief in them and have ordered lots of products from them.

I've bought quite a few books from them over the past few months. This does encourage confidence when going for something bigger.

I too have availed of their services and am very pleased with their efficient and professional ways.

Nothing beats making one's choice by physical presence in an actual shop. So far as books are concerned, browsing in a bookshop is one of life's delights, whether it leads to a purchase or not.

On the other hand, being able to actually get what one is looking for ranks pretty high on the shopping requirement list too --- and I have bought a number of books from Flipkart that have been on my list for several years, and that I was not able to find in London bookshops.

Their packing is good. Each book is individually shrink-wrapped, so even if the package were to get wet the book should be ok. There is a free bookmark in each book (ok, this is advertising, but it is still nice to get). The outer wrapping is strong cardboard and well taped, but easy to open. I'm sure they must pack more expensive/fragile items with as much care.

Their automated response system informs of expected delivery dates. It also informs of any subsequent delay and/or the actual despatch.

Yes... I'm a fan! :)
