Hi Friends,
Over the years, I have become quite a gadget freak. I have become quite knowledgeable about gadgets. The more I think more about our Digital Life and Human Computer Interaction, I realized it might be fun (at least for me) to start writing about some of the experiences (good and bad) Im having with "tech" as a typical early adopter. Im sure those of you out there that are gadget freaks will have fun suggesting new toys and helping me out with the ones Im having problems with. I have to be a gadget freak because if I don't then I would be left out and treated like an outcast. I have to know what is happening in the world outside. It makes me feel confident. Our lives are covered by gadgets, there is nothing we can do without gadgets. Gone are the days, when you would write a diary. I like to keep myself abreast of the latest technology. I usually buy top- of-the-line gadgets that are best in quality and opt for that technology that does not become obsolete quickly.
So look for the trials and tribulations of my gadgets. Few of the forums I visit regularly are:-
1) iClarified - Apple News and Tutorials
2) iGyaan.in | The Technology Destination
3) Engadget
Love Reading - My current favourite is the Apple iPad. It does absolutely everything. I am an avid reader. I like reading books that teach you things, books that teach you a skill. There is an application called iBook on iPad, thanks to which I can download books and create an entire library on my gadget. Right now, I'm reading a book on photography. I generally read at night before I go to sleep. My iPad is convenient because I can carry around a million books in it.
Enjoy Smooth Jazz -I also listen to a lot of music on my HiFi Rig. Though I don't listen to Hindi music very much.
Movie Mania - Im an 2 channel HiFi person and cannot stand watching movies for more than 30 mins. Every time I start to watch a movie, I just mute the TV and listen to audio. ?. I find TV a very dull form of entertainment.
Laptop, Lifeline - My laptop is also my lifeline. I need a computer to do my office work, check my mail. My laptop has made my life much easier because I can work from home ?. I am extremely possessive about my lappy.
