DACs and History of NAD CD Players

Hi guys,

I was thinking to get an understanding on DACs and how well the NAD CD players across generations compare with the newer ones ..

I am sure that at some point or the other we would look at used players that offers a better price to performance ratio.

I just wanted to know whether to go the used market way or purchase new and how good the difference in price can be justified in terms of contribution to overall sound quality of the system.
