True, you need the stepdown but at $550 it is one hell of a deal. IIRC the same 220v 3312 is sold at India at close to 60k or more. You can get a maxine 1.5kva stepdown transformer at around 2k in India.

Guys, hold on. The xx12 series seems to have been outdated by xx13 series too fast. That is why everyone is busy clearing out xx12 stocks. I definitely remember reading reviews of 1912 beling inferior sounding w.r.t 1911. So please read all reviews carefully before plunging, but this is a good deal indeed. Checked that 2312 is selling for a higher price than 3312, stange!!

Avs forum reviews show 3313 is a downgrade over 3312 except in video upscaling. I am using 3312 and quite satisfied with it. I would recommend a buy. At any day you can expand it, as this model have pre-out.

For soem reason 3312 is not even listed on Denon US site.

BTW ..I bought 2312 from Amazon last week(will be bringing it over to India this week) and they haven't reduced the price for it yet.
