Dedicated DAC section?

I am in search for a Dac and found topic related to DAC scattered all over under amplifier forum or CD players.

DAC is not a source in true sense or an amplifier, yes there are Few dacs comes in both these category.

Request super mod to start a new DAC section

Very true. Researching on DACs in this forum results in a bit of a mess. Definitely makes sense to have a dedicated section for it.

I too support and request for this. There are so many related things to be discussed. DAC inside PC, sound card, external ones, even the ones in mobile, tab, portable players, network player, etc. Discussing on chips used in various DACs will be quite interesting.
