delhi to bangalore shipping

i have a friend who has an small mp3 player for me. but she is in delhi. how do i get it to bangalore?

checked it with bludart who quote Rs 2000.

any other reliable shipper with a more reasonable/cheaper rate?

Are you sure you got that quote right mate? Can't be 2k...should be more like Rs.200 to Rs.300 depending on the kind of service opted for.

Try DTDC, ask your friend to write a declaration saying the cost of the mp3 player and that it is a gift. Should work fine.

I've found DTDC to be pretty sluggish. I've found TNT, Aramex, First Flight and few others to be better than DTDC. Bluedart and Fedex are slightly better in terms of customer support and tracking on the site, but more expensive too. Not 2k though. More like 250 bucks, unless you opt for insurance which would be calculated as a percentage of the cost of your shipment. Rest of them are in the 50-150 range.
