hi folks,
i have been a regulare reader ( not much of a contributor) in this forum.
After reading so many complaints, precautions taken to make sure we do not get a demo piece, i thought let me start a thread on it.

1. One of the solution is that we take shout and fight to get a genuine piece.
2. send a notice to the company and the dealer ( as suggested by one of the fellow members).

But i was wondering what if we start buying from Metro, bangalore.
I am telling this because recently i had been to Decathlon to buy some sport wear. When i reached there they said that Decathlon is like metro. Unless i have a decathlon card i cannot shop there ( just like metro). Shop keepers buy from decathlon and do the sales. I found it very impressive. If some of the forum members do own Metro card we can as well see a possibility of buying it from there.

Is there a major price difference in purchasing from Metro bangalore than retailers ? i want the forum members to share or provide their feedback.
if i my thought is stupid, do educate me.

not precisely sure bout how to avoid demp peice delivery.. but for sure know ..how to solve it....

identify.
tell the dealer

(obviously he will not listen)

fight and smash him

(file a F I R of forgery)

spend rs 150 for a legal notice and he comes running to your feet..

screw his happiness..

ask money back..

take your pain out and give him the same pain and irritation he gave you

still not happy..

file a case of mental harrasment, used product, and forgery section 420 indian panel of justice.

and he is jacked permanently...

just time consuming but gives relax to heart..

Avoid BIG stores which display like 100 TVs at a time.

The smaller ones which have very limited display space are also the ones who give the best prices if you think about it. If you give the model number, they will order it and give you mostly.

Tell him that if you are satisfied with the purchase, you are gonna recommend him to your friends. He will take care of the rest.

If you are buying in a big store full of display TVs, you will only end up with one of them mostly. I have a feeling that all the TVs they sell are used for display. You can see this if you go to the showroom 2-3 days continuously. A TV you demoed previous day would be gone today. They are becomming good at doing this stuff in the night.

Are they selling it at lower prices? Hell NO (except croma I suppose). These stores are good only for the demo purpose.
