help me choose b/w denon 1312xp/1612-avr with other speaker system (or) marantz nr1402/1403/1502.

no body is giving correct details.plz helpzzzzzzzzzz

Seperates always will give you better sound than HTIB. HTIB systems like denon 1312XP, Onkyo HT-S3500, etc...........are very good value for money and is recommended for people on a shoe string budget.
If you have the budget then a seperate receiver + 5.1 speaker system will be much better in terms of overall audio quality and performance. For receivers Marantz and Denon are kings. I personally prefer Marantz over Denon due to the warm sound signature. SR1402, 1403, etc........are all good receivers. Pair these with a good 5.1 satellite speaker system and you are good to go!!!

what about denon 1612xp. should I go for marantz nr1402 than 1612 avr

should I go with marantz than denon 1612 avr. my budget is 30k only

If you are OK with pre owned and looking for minimum features like HDMI support, you can post in wanted section, you might get very good offers or people who might want to upgrade can sell it.
the advice which I got from HFV, its really worth! Because you can build your setup step by step!

Both are good........each one has a unique sound signature. you should listen to both and then decide what kind of sound you like. Personally, I prefer Marantz even though at home I have a Denon receiver. You can't go wrong with either of them. Look at hifimart and technoguru for some good deals. The SR1402 is now replaced by the newer SR1403.

IMHO go for Denon 1612 AVR .. Its very good compared to the 1312xp package....... With the 1612 u have the advantage of adding bookshelves of your choice while 1312 as a package has its own speakers which are not great....You can get the 1612 and add speakers step by step.. first but good fronts and centre,,,enjoy 2ch setup....... slowly add sub and surrounds for complete HT experience. At last you have a nice complete HT package better than the Marantz NR and 1312xp packages...

I think there is some confusion here. There are no HTIB systems for Marantz. Onkyo 3500, denon 1312XP, etc are all HTIBs. Marantz SR and Denon AVR series are only receivers. For Denon you have AVR 1312, 1612, 1912..............and for Marantz you have NR 1402, NR 1403, SR 5005, SR 5006, etc............

you can compare a denon receiver to a marantz receiver but you can't compare a HTIB system to only receiver. Denon 1312 can be compared to Marantz 1402 and so on but you can't compare MArantz 1402 to Denon 1312XP or Onkyo 3500.

As earlier mentioned a seperate system comprising of a receiver + speakers is more superior to a HTIB system.

yes guys that's y am going after denon 1612 avr, then buy whardafale speaker package or Boston speaker package

Thought of buying Denon 1612 from Germany but no one is willing to get it from there to India. So, i am proceeding with Marantz NR1402 model with JBL SCS 200.5.1 speaker package which will cost me 38k. I want to add components in a step by step manner like buying Marantz NR1402 receiver or Denon 1612 receiver for 24k then add two book shelf speakers from any company. Is it ok to go by this way.

I want good prices for Marantz NR1402 which most people are advising to go with instead of Denon 1312 or 1612, prices which are in the similar range.

good choice!!! marantz 1402 is a good entry level receiver and also looks good. Getting just 2 BS for now would work better than JBL SCS 200. You really should get better speakers for 1402. You can add the remaining speakers later and finally build a good 5.1 system.

Yes but what about Marantz 1403 price which is latest generation one. Another Important feature i am looking for is, play from usb drive. How could i possibly do that with AVR's. Mostly i used to play movies from my USB.

By all means go with 1403 if it is available, always better to go with new technology if it suits your budget. Most receivers have USB support, so you need to check the specs before you decide. I do know that Marantz SR5005 has USB support, so please check for NR1402/1403.

USB for connecting iphone/ipod that's it companies are telling and not involving any portable usb drive.

I can't get sound when i connect portable drive directly to LED TV USB right?

Yamaha RX V 571 is quoted as 16,500 with all the features that Marantz NR1402 has. I can buy klipsch C-10 center speaker with two front speakers.

Any one bought Denon 1612 receiver for 23000 or Marantz NR1403 for 22000. Quick reply needed.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
