Denon X540BT + Plok5.0 is this a good combo. Can you help please..

Hi all, my brother wants to buy the deal with DenonX540BT+Polk 5.0

5.0 consists the following:
POLK Audio T50 tower speakers, T30 center speaker and two T15 bookshelf speakers

Is this a good deal??
Is the Denon X540BT a basic model??
And how are the Polk speakers?

Any suggestions please....

Is the Denon X540BT a basic model??

Yes last year model.
Now it is come up with 250,550 model .

540 is good for satellite and bookshelf imho.
But for 47k Indian money he can pull the trigger.
Stereo performance he should not expect form this 540 and this setup.
That package does not consists of sub and carrying back to India custom hassle will lead big money for this .
Assuming he is in Germany.
Suggestion would be similar package X540bt with satellite & sub would be ideal

Speakers are good.....

Why not pair it with Marantz NR1508/1509?

The X540 or 550 cannot perform as good as the Marantz....most speakers pair well with Marantz

It makes sense to get an AVR out there and speakers here. Likely to get great deals on older model SR5011, x4300H

@Naveenbnc You know, we have the Taga Harmony speakers at an affordable price here.. So, he can avoid shipping hassle's here.. Best would be to pick AVR from there as it should be 220~240V unit.. He can consider any outgoing model of 5.1/7.1 AVR for a good price as suggested by @arunkvivek
