Not mandatory but it adds value. Rew helps in identifying proper placement for your speakers and subwoofers. It also helps in choosing appropriate target curve in Dirac calibration.

just now I have a thought in my mind. All of us running behind dirac and soending between 40 to 50k. But many of us not tried multieq x web version. Is it right.
And multiwq x has no need to pay extra for bass control. Am I right

Agree with you, even I haven't tried Multieq X , I was told Dirac is superior with DLBC than Multieq X.

Now checked webversion 149dollers and no need of umik1 mic.

Umik 1 itself costing 10k. For audissy no need of extra hardware needed. Need to purchase license is enough.
