DVD TO AVI OR MP4 (ps3)CONVERTER WITHOUT ANY AV LOSS

i am having some dvds and i want to store it in my ps3 which has 250gb ,i need a good converter software to have the full quality as in the dvd ,pls tell me if u ppls use any good converters ..........
my system is core 2 duo, xp service pack 3 ,4gb ram

Hi,
Do you mean by copying DVD contents to your PS3 as original quality, i.e only the movie or including the DVD menus, extra features etc.?

If you just want the DVD movie alone or the whole contents to be copied retaining the original quality without any compression, you can try these softwares as mentioned below. But these are paid softwares and other members can give more info on freeware versions.

You mean to say you want to rip those DVDs. Right?
try megui/ auto gk etc. There are lots of free software for this.

DVDshrink or DVD43 are all freeware which can help you rip DVD's to PS3 for store ...

1) DVD Decrypter to rip the DVDs.

2) Stream the ripped DVD to your PS3 using PS3 Media Server. This way, there is no compression of the source DVD involved.

DVD is already compressed. New compression like H264 can create smaller files with the same quality as DVD.

a DVD when copied as it is would be approx 6 - 9GB. If compressed at the same quality with H264, size can be reduced to 3 -4GB.
