Anyone compared emotiva upa2 with a diy amp e.g. class d audio or myref or hypex etc. upa2 is currently running at a super price (300usd) and a friend can get it for me.
I would probably get the myref anyway for my desktop. I also want a good 100 odd watt (into 8 ohms) amp for my main system also. It should be able to drive 8 as well as 4 ohm speakers. How does it compare with similarly priced diy amps.
