Energy RC Micro 5.1 vs Whafedale DX1 HCP 5.1

Hi,

I am a new member to this forum and would want to set up a compact but powerful Home theatre system with separate AV reciever and small speaker packages in the range of 50k to 100k. Living room size is 12/20 + 12/10 Dining area.

Did any one had a chance to audition Energy RC Micro 5.1 vs Whafedale DX1 HCP 5.1. Which one is better?

For reciever i thought of Marantz SR5007 or Pioneer VSX922. I was also interested in their slimline reciever NR1603 but it seems it is not available.

Your inputs in this regard will be highly helpful.

I didn't like Energy RC micro Bass. Havn't managed to hear DX-1. I liked the Tannoy HTS-1 available at Sound Lounge. But people seem to like DX-1 better than Tannoy.

Thanks Matoind, I liked the music in Micro but for Movie it sounded little tiny.
