Hi all,

Any thoughts/feedback on the ESP F10 electric Guitar (Gothic body styling). Is it good for a beginner and what is a good price to pay for a new one or a used one?

Thanks in advance.

this is what I am talking about, planning to get one for my Son

The guitar looks really kewl Reuben. Looks so much like an Ibanez.

Did a bit of reading on this model and seems ideal for playing Metal and has a fast neck. Has a decent pickup as well. A good choice for a beginner I reckon. Price is difficult to estimate. Saw a few where people bought them used from 100 to 250 pounds.

yes, looks cool indeed

interestingly it has the bolted on design like the fenders

its made in China

but my son will become a hero at school if he carries it along :)

Am in the process of buying one for my son as well! Looking at Ibanez and Fender. Budget 12 -14k . He is learning the acoustic guitar and wants to move to electric , so a beginner . I also see stuff like effects pedal, processors, etc as additional buys needed. Am confused, gurus pl help.
Reuben, let me know how your buy goes.
Cheers.

Check Peavey Raptor / Vault / Aria for beginners which will be between 7-9K. There are good models. No need to spend so much for beginners. I bought my brother an used Ibanez guiter for 5K to start.
