Hello everyone,
I am lookin out for a 40-50 inch flat panel.
PQ is only criteria . Viewing distance of arnd 10ft
3D : a decent to good perfomance is enuf considering the usage and content available.
I have shortlisted Panasonic plasma ST/VT and Sony HX850
I am really confused about whether to go for plasma or leds
I have gone through a lot of forums here in hfv, and cnet reviews and find out that if its PQ . plasma is where i should put the buck.
I also concurr on finding SD channels great comparing to ones on led's.
With regards to Power consumption , consumption really don work out well against plasma as wat it consumes is nothin comapred to rxv471 set with 4 splits acs, motors , grinders runnin...
But , something that irks me ( may be a myth )
1. Why plasma which were once very costly now cheaper than led's though offer better PQ are cheaper ? Is its a function of performance and span ?
2.Burns in TV on static displays is a problem ? Heard plasma of years before are heat bodies..
With these two questions , I can decide on takin a beauty and a beast home.
