Hi All,
I am in serious discomfort regarding the Power reaching my Audio Equipment.
Problem:
I have my MX spike buster connected to the Wall socket directly.
Even when the Wall socket-switch is off the spike buster has the red light indicator turned on.Red light indicates : L&N are reversed.
I have also observed that the glow on the indicator changes from time to time.
I got my electrician to check the situation ..He traced the problem back to the meter room and into the main power supply. When he checked the same using my MX spike Buster , the red light turned on brightly , much brighter than in my room. He told that the neutral was faulty in the power supply.
I called the CESC.They sent their electrician. They were reluctant to check anything with my MX spike buster and said everything is ok by just using their Test Bulb.
1.Is this situation dangerous for my equipments or is it pretty natural in overhead lines. Is there a way to get rid of the problem?
2.Do I need a Power conditioner/Stabilizer?
Any other suggestions ....
