No. It is 1 year full warrranty on whole TV + 2 years of extended warranty on panel only.
 
I recently visited a panny showroom at ahemdabad as i was on my research of best 3d tv...he showed me a palm plate & showing high level of excitement for the prices being reduced a bit low...i took the palm plate & checked at online sites like flipkart,ebay etc...the prices on palm plate are much higher than ebay for sure....it is just that they are providing an assured gift of printer or things like this which im not bothered about.
 
I am always skeptical about festive offers.
Most of the offers include some freebies and stuffs like that.(showing too much inflated MRPs which are available at cheap rates outsides) and things which we don't need or already have. eg: DTH, DVD player. They will not reduce the price by the listed MRP of free gift if you don't want it.

Companies do know that consumer sentimental values are much higher in festive seasons than the discount offered and easy to lure them.:D

If someone is getting real discount without any freebies, then that will be good. Otherwise no offer will be as good as clearance stock of older models.
 
Very aptly put. I too never ever "discovered" festival offers. Newspaper ad's say up to xx% off or this and that. All that is to lure you into the showrooms. When you land up, you will discover that there are no offers on "desireable" items.

This applies not just to TV and Hi-Fi. It is across the board.

well all the companies have announced what they are going to give but at what price one has to pay they have not announced :confused: so they will release in papers or media. Strange are the marketing gimmicks.
 
Went to Panasonic brand showroom and complained about their festival offer. They said they are trying to tell the company to bring back the HT offer but they aren't sure if that will happen.
 
I also confirmed from my Pana Brand shop (Baner Road Pune) He told me that almost every customer is demanding the HT hence he will manage to give HT during Diwali.
