Few issues with UA40ES6800

Recently got this TV for around 74K after few employee discounts and cashing the free home theater offer.The Display is pretty good with HD content.Plus the DLNA/Smart TV options and Web browser options are working fine.Very useful to me.
Let me get to the issues.The brightness levels are more around the edges at the bottom.One discerning issue is i see faint black vertical bands of around 2 cms randomly occurring whenever i watch cricket (with IPL going on..i cant miss it).I have seen same with football.It is more visible with pale backgrounds in outdoor sports.And it is also visible with the smart TV apps store's pale grey background.Is it normal with edge LED tv's.Should i ask the Samsung technician to visit and check if the tv/Panel be replaced.I have been a sammy fan throughout.Samsung fridge,Samsung Washing machine and Samsung DVD player..If everything goes through well..a sammy galaxy phone in near future..This TV issue is irritating me a lot..

Since i have seen these black vertical bands..I always look for it when watching cricket instead of cricket and the dodgy no-balls it brings in..!!

Hi Guys..Help please..IS this normal with these leds..or a one off case with the panel?Should i get the panel checked and replaced?

Have you compared the image on other similar products to the image on your TV?

The guy at the store had some HD channels(Nat Geo and demo clips) running.It looked crisp.Among all the sets on display with this price range only HX750 was slightly better than this and reviews were also good for this model.But when i google the issue, looks like its a slightly common issue.Particularly when u r watching sports in green backgrounds..Unfortunately that is my main priority.Plus i got it at a steal price...So i got it..Didnt look like a demo piece either..

Even if it is a common issue, you can still ask Samsung for a checkup & see what they come up with.
Even though Google says it is common, this checkup can eliminate the faint chance of defective panel.
