FiiO X5

Anybody got the X5 and would like to share your experience? And how different is it from X3? Is it worth the high price (Rs.25k approx.)?

I was considering the Fiio X5 but i went for the Ibasso DX90 instead both are in the same league, read some comparison reviews on the net for finding out the subtle differences. I love how the DX90 sounds but software in it is a bit lacking but i hear even Fiio software is not the best out there. Ive read that both these players sound very good only subtle characteristics of the sound are different for both.

I use the Ibasso DX90 with Vsonic GR07 Bass edition and its really shines for a portable. At home i use the DX90 via coaxial into the schiit bifrost dac. I heard night and day difference going from my Mede8er x1000 media player to this dedicated audio source, more snr, clarity, almost as if a veil had been lifted, turned down the gains on my power amp and everything sounds awesome now.

If you have the budget, want something more branded, better visual appeal, much better software and some free bragging rights check out the astell and kern players.
