Finally bought Philips lcd

hi, after lot of suggestions from this forum i decided to go in for Philips 32" lcd TV instead of samsung or Panasonic. I bought 32pfl5409 model for 30k, is it a good deal ? The best part of the tv was its divx capability through usb and had better sound then the others. Can anyone tell me the best picture settings to view airtel DTH. I was considering samsung 4 series as well, but still went in for Philips.

DON'T EVER ask these sort of questions after your purchase - EVEN TO YOURSELF!!

Be it a TV or spouse (err.. not really purchase, but say marriage?!), once you've taken the plunge, then give a honest try and make the best out of it!!! (well, even after a while if you'r not happy then it's a different matter)


Having said that, your's is a very good deal for a very nice TV. :clapping:

Now, please set aside these worries and spend time on viewing and enjoying it. Also, please do post your experience too!

hi, it has 5ms response rate,right. Would it be good enough for gaming or would show a lag. Is there any game mode in the tv and is it advisable to switch to this mode.

Welcome to Philips club. Chose Philips after a tight fight with Pana X11. Found the colors more natural on the Philips when did a side by side comparison.

Did you take it without the free DVD player (Philips 3368)? For me, it was 32K with DVD player.
