finally going for 40 toshiba pb20

so finalized to purchase toshiba pb 20. tomorrrow. from hubli
37000/- 12 equal instalments 0% finance.( bajaj).
what abt performance if ths one. or shall i go for ps20 (47000)

I think PB20 is CCFL backlit and PS20 is LED backlit. Please check. LED back light have brighter picture as a rule. See both TV yourself and determine. Also look for which TV has larger refresh rate. Larger refresh rate is good for watching fast action seens like football matches.

I was also confused between 40 inch Toshiba 40PB20 and 42 inch Panasonic L42U5D, but finally decided to go for Panasonic model, bought from flipkart, delivered on 3rd day after ordering.

considering 2000 gift voucher, effective price is 34900.

Difference between 40 and 42 inch seems very less on paper but 2 inch screen matters a lot in practical viewing. Same thing as you might have seen in 18.5inch and 19inch computer monitors. 0.5inch matter when you actually look at minotors.

My suggestion is, go for as much large size as you can.
I am using Panasonic from last 13 days, I am very happy with the Picture quality.
