Wondering if everyone gets a Fluidic and smooth Youtube video experience as I see some framing (not even milliseconds) (not annoying but not fluidic like a real smooth movie).

(video completely buffered-meaning nothing related to network speed or browser)
Ideal Fluidic: frame1----------frame2-------frame3 (smooth)
Actual: frame1--frame1.1--frame1.2--frame2--frame 2.1---frame2.2---frame3 (with negligible delay)

Is this something related to hardware, I use different machines (mac with 8gb ram, AMD A8 with 6gb ram, Intel i5 with 8gb ram) and my internet speed is 50mbps.

I may be looking from a perfectionist perspective.
Any thoughts?

Many browsers have broken video playback in both HTML5 and Flash. It will stutter when you move the mouse over the video etc. I've found the smoothest video is in Internet Explorer 11 with HTML5 (disable Flash plugin) - It does not stutter even during mouse movement and is as good as a standalone media player.

Not many are available, but quite a few tech YouTube channels make videos available in 2K or 4K at 60fps. These would definitely meet your criteria.

This is the very reason I stopped using chrome. 720p is more than enough for a smooth video. Try MS Edge, its working great for me, only downside is that there is no adblock yet for this browser.

Just realized that you are using mac, sorry.

I use chrome and face no issues with youtube 60fps upto 1080p. Absolutely no judder. Its a ton of fun. Many Vloggers i follow have started uploading in 60fps.

The same, and no issues whatsoever even when watching 4K content at 60 FPS.

I do have Chrome set to use HTML5 when possible.
