Foobar 2K equalizer

Hi friends,

Here is a snap shot about how foobar equalizers work

1) Red: 55Hz
2) Green: 77 Hz
3)Yellow: Original (that is what the link says.)

As you can see, If we push 55Hz up, all the frequencies below 55 are pushed up. If we push 77Hz up, it pushes up frequencies between 60 Hz and 90Hz and not everything below 77Hz.

I like this 55Hz because once I push it up(by aout 3 dB), I don't have to bother about separately pushing 45 or 30 Hz up. Works well for me. Of course it gives less flexibility. But again for music, Iam not bothered much below 45Hz.
WMP does give options upto 32 Hz but i find this better.When one is not using subwoofer, one 'probably' needs to push up eveything below 50hz if the speakers or the amp is light on bass.
