The Feynman Lectures on Physics

I'm not quite sure what it is about this guy, but, even though I am almost innumerate and my brain seizes up when faced by an equation, I find his speaking and writing quite riveting. I hated maths and mathematical science at school: He'd probably loose me in Chapter 2, but I just found chapter 1 impossible to put down.

It does not matter that he is an atheist, I'd describe him as an absolutely spiritual person. It is to do with the fact that he brings something beyond enthusiasm, even beyond love to what he does: he makes it live.

Well, yes, that should be past tense. 1918-1988.

I saw this link from a different blog. Surely You are joking Mr Feynman is a great read. BTW, paperback is available in Amazon.in for Rs 234.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
