Hi there,i got the fosi audio ht4s amplifier to use instead of the fosi audio bts20pro that has gone to the kids room for their own use.
The set up is in the living room and it is going to power up two late 1970’s jvc speakers, to the HT4S i am connecting a Raspberry Pi and a TV box that also goes tona TV.
The main use is to listen to music, that comes from a hard drive attached to the pi.
After everything is connected i turn it on and ….the sound is awesome .I amnising It to listen to rock ,hard rock ,blues this tipe of musci and thebsound is very nice and clear. It has two little knobs so you can adjust bass and trebbles ,and a big knob for sound.
It also brings a remote control wich is very usefull for changin sources, from aux to optical to bluetooth, when you change sources the led light changes colour .
I also used It to watch a couple of films and It sounds really good, did not have a sub to use,but that was my fault.
Here IS another good point if you use It for watching films ,It has a little button underneath tonchange from flat to sub ,and also, remember the led light some people fin them annoying in the dark and stock aome tape on It,the remote has and option to turn It off.
Sound is great for music and really nice for films
The Next step IS to try It with some video games.
Really enjoing It,
The only thing i miss is a headphone connection
.

Does this unit take discrete input for 4.1 - optical ? I do see the Bluetooth and aux in.
or all the 4 channels are used for dual stereo?
