Full HD - Non 3D 46 or 47 inch LED TV

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a 47 or 46 inch LED TV. I do not need 3D, Smart TV features.
I am just looking for good picture quality. Budget is 60k to 70k.

Please suggest me a few good models. I am okay with any brand.

Hi check Sony EX430 LED 46inch, Panasonic EM5D LED 50inch & Panasonic UT50 Plasma 50inch.

Most high end TVs will be 3D enabled. Smart features are also built-in. 50UT50 will be overbudget.

I would say that root for the TV with best PQ that fits into the budget. Smart Features and 3D, if included are bonus and need not be used.

Sony 46EX430 will be a good bet if you don't want to touch plasma.

yes the feutures are put in automatically.hehe.
you demo tvs side by side and take the picture suits you.
at demo time...
lmake all settings same in the tvs u compare.
run a crappy sd channel
run a real good movie file/original br disk.if you dont have check star movie hd.
check both
check for black color deepness,mottion lag,smoothness,skin tone..etc
dont compare on the basis of the demo hd recordings.....which normally run in the tv showrooms....fruits,animals,people,clothes..etc.

at 70k budget....if you put some more like 5k,you can get a 50 inch full hd 3d plasma UT series panasonic.which has the picture quality which no led even in 100k bracket can match....at same size
if you dont like plasma pictutre then you have 62k sony 40 incher ex650 series led.which is best in its classhyeah:...in led areana...

at 70k....its difficult to get a 46 incher i think in led.

Seriously take a look at Panasonic UT50 or even Samsung E8000 plasma if you can control the lighting in your room and are okay with plasma issues - possible IR, noise etc.

The E8000 especially is a great deal. You are getting a TV that can compete with the best of the best at around 80k

Thanks for all your input guys. I am looking at Toshiba 46TL20 which available for 64k and Panasonic 50 EM5D available for 64k.

Though I like Plasma, I do not want to buy a Plasma TV for my Parents.

Panasonic EM5D is LED. Why dont you consider that?

Yeah Just got the quotes from a Panasonic showroom in Bangalore.

47E5D for 70k
42ET50D for 80k
42ST50D for 80k

Didn't bargain though. Need to go back and bargain for much better rates.
