Good speaker stands

Hello everyone..
I recently bought CA AM 10 amp with CA CD 10 player and Magnat monitor audio 200 speakers as a start off to the high fidelity music world. Now I am enjoying the music collection in CDs which I have, in a new dimension. Actually out of the world. But I don't have speaker stands. My query is
1.whether they make an integral part of music system or not?
2.whether the improvement they are going to make in the sound quality is commendable or not?
I have heard of norstone speaker stands.. what about them? please help with your valuable suggestions.

the cost of magnat monitor supreme 200 is 12,500 Rs. I bought it from Hi Fi Links, Kochi. superb and highly efficient bookshelf speakers.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I am curious to know how you feel about the magnats, did u compare them with any other speakers u have, i mean any of the better known brands like wharfs, CAs etc. Just want to know how they fare. thanks again.

It is sad that amazon.de increased the shipping costs. You could get magnat speakers for less than half the price they are sold here, like my magnat 5.1 speaker system which I bought for 19K from amazon.de. It costs 40.5K here.

I think the magnat monitor 200 is available for less than 10K at technoguru.in. Please check their website. Another site is htstore.in

Most of ( actually ; all ) my stands are made as per specs that i personally would use and approve of

Due to this my stands end up using base plates and columns that are more than twice the thickness of most commercial imports
Being very heavy ( sometimes close to twice ) also affects shipping costs
This is the reason behind their pricing

However soon a model should be availble that is highly competitive - yet has specs at least better than most commercial offerings

This stand may be made availble only through hifimart ( which i have always supported since the profit it makes goes to the running of this forum )
i hope to find a way to make that work
