Good tv for gaming?

I recently bought a new PS3, but I still have an old CRT TV. I really want to buy a new TV to go with my console. Are off-brand LED TVs good for PS3 gaming? If not, what's a good option for an LED with fast response times and high contrast ratio?

Plasma TV's are considered good for gaming. Specially the panasonic GT and VT series.

My plasma developed burn in issues after too much of gaming. But gaming experience is very good in a plasma.
If u are playing a game where there is a fixed HUD like BF3....u will get burn in issues in your plasma after continuous gaming.
I am now thinking of getting a budget led projector (around 30k) which can do 720p for gaming and movies.

FIFA also has static scoreline.however I turned that off....Still can IR be an issue?

Plasma display has pixel orbiter which can eliminate burnin issues. then y burnin problem happens?

Not "eliminate", but "reduce". And it is IR not BI.
