Hello !

My ATI Redon Card - Display 'conked' & was just out of 'W'
So, I am forced to be a 'new' Card.
I need a Good Quality DDR 5 - 1 GB Card.

I was considering :-

Galaxy NVIDIA GT 630 1GB GDDR5 Graphic Cards

What are the 'other' options ?
I do not want to spend too much.

Rs. 5,000/- or there abouts is an OK budget.

Suggestions & Help shall be much appreciated.

This is a Server to Watch Movies.
It is connected to a Panasonic 50 Inch ST Plasma with a vDH Cable.
:licklips:

Buy Online Galaxy NVIDIA GT 630 1GB GDDR5 Graphic Cards in India
This is the link for the card I was considering.

Since you will not be gaming, pretty much any modern card should suffice for playing videos. My personal preference is for Nvidia over ATI.

I purchased a Card;
Was delivered & installed - last night - now to get it 'working'
Yes, I have the 'display' but I need to 'tweek' it.
Does any FM have any idea of what can be done ? How it needs to be done ? I would appreciate help & support. Visit home would be most appreciated.
I want to 'extract' the most out of this card.
Some pics :-

This will be seen on a Panansonic ST 50 Plasma TV.
I hope to get it to work to its maximum potential.

Bhagwan I suggest you look at these two threads for making sure you get the best video quality on your display device

madVR - high quality video renderer (GPU assisted) - Doom9's Forum

LAV Filters - DirectShow Media Splitter and Decoders - Doom9's Forum

Use media player classic - home cinema and do not install any other filters/codecs than the above.

Sir,
I will go through the links you suggested.
Currently I use J River 19 to watch movies. Some setting changes have been made here too - not sure exactly what they are...
I was a XBMC user - will reinstall it. I like that software.
Am in Pune for the weekend - will return on Monday & follow up with the 'settings'
Thanks again...:clapping:
