Great system in Bangalore

Heard a very nice system in Bangalore, courtesy Dr Bass. Arj and reignofchaos were also present

Here are the system details

EMT 927 turntable with two tone arms

Kondo and TSD 15 cartridges

EMT JPA 66 phono with pre

TAD D700 cd player

TAD M700 amp

TAD CR1 TX speakers

Room has been properly treated.

Heard a number of tracks. Sounded gorgeous. Extremely relaxed with oodles of details with good tone and transparency.

Yep this is the best system I have ever heard. Fabulous sounding with a very sweet natural tone - zero fatigue but extremely detailed. Loved the evening yesterday. The host too is a wonderful person.

TAD is brilliant. If the room is a properly treated one, do consider the effect of that as well.

I didnt expect to see the price tag of around 62 lacs when I googled those speakers.

Assuming you had expected it to be a "Tad" more than the other speakers but not this much.
