I am retired from computer field. Hobbies include Good sound systems. I say Good, not many can afford 20K sound system. I love good sound systems that Perform. Perform is the Key. I hate systems that fail in one area, sound.
I love Plasma TV. Just believe the Picture is superior to LCD, Projection, LED. I have a Hitachi Plasma 42 HDT79. Hitachi 42HDT79 42-Inch Plasma HDTV Review: Powered by ConsumerGuide and HowStuffWorks It is a few years old now and looks better than a lot of TVs on display BestBuy. I have a Pioneer VSX-1019AH Receiver. It is enough for me, it has enough power & Features to last a few more years. I always do research on the Items I wish to purchase and make a decision on consumer reviews. Then I search for the best bargain. Just added Pioneer Speakers to my AV System today, P-C22 center, SP-BS21-LR Surround Speakers, SP-FS51-LR Floor-standing speakers, and a Mirage PS 10 sub. It is certainly not the most expensive setup, or even the Best but for an old guy like me it sounds great!
Yes I have a Pioneer head unit in my car, DEH-P9400BH, it is great with HD radio, Blue tooth, runs apps, usb hook up and a host of features.
