Grounded Grid preamp+Quad 909+Tannoy Definition OK?

Hello everyone,

I have been building up my equipment and hope someone could give me some advice.

I currently own a Grounded Grid preamp from Transcendant Sound.

I am planning on getting the following:

Yamaha Cd-S2100 CDP
Quad 909 Power amp
Tannoy Definition DC8T speakers

I listen to pop, female vocals and orchestra most of the time; though I also listen to other genres such as jazz, piano, and live performance.

Does the above equipment fit my requirements?

Hi Chris

I've been using the Grounded Grid for a decade now and love it. Its connected to Altec speakers in a biamped configuration, with a solid state amp and a valve amp, so it's a bit difficult for me to hazard a guess as to how it will preform with your combo.
