Hi everybody i have some records which shows this strange phenomena. These discs have no physical scratch and are very good and shiny but these LPs are little bit noisy(have crackling sound) near the edges/start but as needle moves toward centre the noise fades and untimately vanish near middle of the record. Anybody know why? I read fidelity decreases as stylus moves inward.
Points i dissmised as reason for this are
- not a record player problem. As i tried different players from ceramic to linear tonearm.
- previous owner of records have player problem- As different records are from different places.
