On Saturday June 27th, and Sunday June 28th 2009 from 7 pm. to 10:00 pm, Value Electronics in Scarsdale, New York hosted its annual flat panel HDTV shootout. You can watch it through the link pasted below.

well thats old news the sponser to that was panasonic ,there are tons of threads out there in various forums that have challenged and dismissed their claims, only pro plasmas/fanboys bump them.although every website/magazine has respect for pioneer,rest of findings were by pro plasma people .
even panasonic person who had come to that test said that they will be actively behind plasma,while lcds will be secondary for them.

^ well, then i believe that shootout was 100% true and was genuinely done in terms of all the brands that were taken in for comparison.

I am not a Sony hater, i just hate Sony TV's. I do own a Sony ps3 and although it is gathering dust at my home i still like it.

well u made it clear that u hate lcds in this thread http://www.hifivision.com/television/5982-sony-zx5-edge-led-lcd.html#post73596 and u don't seem to like anything mentioned good about sony.

Well,
i am happy to see such shootout's happening for Plasma's as it helps to differentiate between the high and lower end of plasma's.Also personally i feel plasma's are still very competitive and here to stay.

Well everyone is entitled for their own personal opinion, so guess the plasma lcd debate is a never ending one.

Also which changing times and technology i feel, every year something new comes up and this is a never ending process.
