Currently I have two SS headphone amps Meier Audio Stepdance and Matrix HPA1.

What headphones are you powering with them?

Slim>HPA1>HD650

SPS DAC3>Stepdance>HD650/T50rp

Stepdance though portable has very good sound only grip is the bass which when paired with SPS DAC3 complements very nicely.

I also have M50(old model), CAL!, portapros etc

Previously had HD598,UE6000

Still carrying my M50x and HD598se.

How is portapro? came across it being mentioned many times in headphone forums. Looks live very budget headphone. If good, would like to suggest to my friends.

The portapro is nice, good sound for the price but has many drwbacks to be the headphone if you can only own one. first its on ear (i mean really on ear) so there is no isolation. then there is the issue of longevity, in my experience they don't seem to last very long.

I have a SMSL Sd793ii powering the fostex, the shp9500 and the M40x.

Other headphone amps around the house exist but are not dedicated (marantz pm5004 and Smsl AD18 both have decent amps)

Fiio E 17 on the move.

Using the following headphones on the Schiit setup:

Hd 6xx / DT 880 pro / massdrop x fostex tx 00

Using the e17 with ath m50 and ue900

Ok. Yeah I know about it. I have recommend a few people E-MUs myself for EDM.

I had the Matrix M-Stage HPA 2. Amazing at that price.
