Some are based on suggestions on forum.

We are tending towards Sennheizer 449 or the Shure M30 or AT 500.

My friend will be mostly listening to vocals (bhajans,etc) and wants good noise isolation and comfort as he will be using it for long listening.

Please advice which ones should be buy? (If we have missed any good option please suggest)

He is eager to get these soon so hoping to get some quick inputs.

if youre not able to audition, imo go for the Sennheiser purely based on reputation. though it is recommended that you audition and pick what suits your listening habits best

Thanks, we are based in Pune and I am not sure where we can audition the audio technicas or for that matter any other can.

I have been a Senn user and they are pretty good. The AT 500 and 35 look promissing too.
