I registered on this forum way back in 2008 and to my eternal shame never got further than that. Much water has flowed down the Cauvery and thanks to twists and turns of fate , I am now back in the audio/Visual game and therefore back on the forum.
My current setup consists of an Onkyo 5.1 AV receiver to which are hooked up a twin cassette deck (one of which only works), a 5 CD changer and a nameless TT. Also hooked up is a Panasonic 50 inch plasma and a Tata Sky STB and a DVD player. Due to aforementioned T&T of fate, I am also now the owner of some 50-60 Vinyl all in perfect working order.
The speakers are two Onkyo tower speakers, 2 bookshelf,1 centre speaker and a powered sub woofer.
I also have some spare gear in the form of another Onkyo 5.1 receiver, a subwoofer, 2 satellite speakers and a centre speaker which I plan to sell or exchange for gear thats mentioned in my future setup below.
Future plans include a rack, a 2 channel amp (thereby creating two systems - one for audio and one for visual), and speakers to match
Since I am a noob , looking for guidance and help from all you experts out here.
And yes I am also a gearhead and like DIY to a reasonable extent. I am based in namma Bengaluru.
