I'm Naveen from Chennai and I'm new to this forum.
I've been using Yamaha 196 home theatre system for about 2 years.
Recently, the receiver unit stopped working and I'm trying to get it serviced.
I gave it to Stanley electronics, T Nagar, Chennai for service and they said that the PCB unit is damaged.
They are costing 10000 Rs for PCB board replacement and service for the receiver.
Can someone please help me to identify whether they are quoting the right price and should i contact some other service centre.
This is the first time I'm getting it serviced Off the warranty and this is my first AV receiver I bought so far.
So, please help me as I'm not so familiar with AV receivers.
