Although I have been following this forum for a while as a member, I am interested in meeting other serious audiophiles in Bangalore. Also, can someone advise me on how to post on the For Sale by Owners page - it appears my account does not have sufficient privileges.
I bought a system a year or so ago, but have spent most of the time abroad. Since I decided to bring back my system from abroad, this one has become redundant even though it has hardly had any use. The speakers are hardly broken in and still has the plastic wrap around it ! (Usher Dancer Mini 2).....so need to get things listed on the appropriate page to try and sell these and other interesting stuff reasonably. Hopefully I have not broken any rules with my first introductory post.
Look forward to taking part in the forum.
For anyone seeking advice on high-end systems, glad to help. I have owned (like many others afflicted by the bug) many makes of esoteric hifi and know several of the manufacturers and engineers involved. However, I am not very familiar with large commercial manufacturer's products. By the way, I strongly believe in room treatment!!
Regards

Welcome to HFV.

Regarding posting privileges... there are none. You just have to have a post count of 30 to be able to PM and post sale ads (IIRC).

Thank you. :) Although I did mention "esoteric" in the post, I meant it in the sense of unsual...however, strangely I do have an Esoteric CD player, used mainly as a transport ever since I recently switched to digital files played through an external DAC. The DAC section of the Esoteric though is very good (it is the K-03 model) so I have it wired to play both ways which makes for interesting comparisons.

What external Dac do you use ?
