I love music since a little kid, back than, in the 80's I was listening mostly LP's and radio.
Things changed. Now I have a 2.1 system, a few years ago I had a 5.1.
I listen everyday. I own a Rega Planar 3 with Ortofon 2mr red conected to an Audiolab 6000a Play which is also a streamer (I have Tidal subscription). The two speakers are Focal Aria 906 (conected trough Audioquest Rocket 11 cables) and the sub is an Emotiva BasX 12S.
The TV is also conected to the integrated amplifier trough an optical cable. I don't miss much the 5.1 because my speakers are way better than previous. For movies I think is more important a good subwoofer.
