Hello friends of the audio video world,
I was always interested in projectors since I was a kid, I remember owning a mini projector called Baby's Joy when I was a kid, It's source was a ordinary incandescent lamp with a lens up front and it had a thick film reel which would transfer from the top wheel to the bottom which was done manually with a hand crank geared to the hubs ....No Sound.....there were a number of cartoon films,Oh what joy it was those days I really don't now what happened to this projector...As you grow older our priorities change!!!
But no you can't forget the things you love!!some years back with the help of lumen lab fourms I build a home made LCD projector with the help of a Metal halide lamp and used a lcd monitor and fresnel lens along with a projection lens from the local flea market, The results were good, the only problem being we get a very bulky projector I still have this projection system.
Now I am planing to go in for a ready market available LED projector to start a movie home theater set up at home.
And yes Sound is important too no fun to watch a good movie without a proper HiFi dolby stereophonic sound system.
So here I am. Ready to learn some tricks of the trade.
Thank you
Jon
