Hi everyone,

Hope you guys are doing well !

I am a newbie to the world of AV razzmatazz but not to the world of music & movies in general. In fact the avid listener & viewer in me has brought me to the doorstep of this learned forum.

I have been using an old yet fabulous Sony mini hi fi system that has served me well. As i see around, there are absolutely mind boggling combinations available to heighten one's listening experience.

Before enhancing/replacing the system i possess within a permissible budget, i would like to get myself updated on the options/choices available by reading through this forum & seeking help of the audiophile Guru's.

If you are planning to upgrade your system, decide on the budget first and then if you want a 5.1 or 7.1 or a simple stereo setup...

Since you are based in Mumbai we have many dealers where we can audition and decide..

Don't forget to look at For Sale by owner section or India's Audio & Video Pre-Owned Classified Ads Website where pre owned equipment is available for reasonable rates...

Precisely, the reason why i am into this forum & i have plans to do exactly this, commensurate my budget.
The link you have provided for pre-worshiped systems also seems to be a great option for people wanting to listen to hi quality output @ a reasonable cost.
