Help: Chennai - LCD TV Mount

Hi guys,
When I bought my LCD TV, the guys from SONY came and hung the TV on the wall using the wall bracket. Now after some renovation, I am trying to find a professional who can come and accurately fit the wall bracket and then hang the LCD TV also on the wall. Last time, the guys from SONY were very professional, they used spirit level etc to accurately measure level and height and they did it perfectly.

Can you guys refer somebody who can do this perfectly for me . Am in Chennai. This is kinda urgent. I have been looking for somebody for more than 2 weeks now. Of course I will pay for this.

You can call the same Sony guys. Of course, they'll charge for a second installation. LG did it free of cost for me - even the second time.

Well I called them. Referred me some guy who is never turning up

Call Samsung/LG and tell them you have a need to wall-mount "a" LCD. The technician who is going to visit you will call before coming over, you can then tell him it is a Sony TV... blah blah... typically, the technician is not an employee of Samsung/LG etc, so he will really not be bothered...

On the otherhand, buy a spirit level (a decent chinese made will be around 70bucks) and get the wall-plate installed by the local electrician and you'll get to keep the spirit level :yahoo: and save some money too... :yahoo: :yahoo:

Okay, got hold of this guy from Sony Center (Ashok Nagar). Came home and did a very professional job. I am putting this here for the record so that somebody may find it useful.

Really Thanks darkblack.... i contacted the guy (UdayaKumar-9884227066) he did really good job in my home. for past 3 months i am searching for a guy to fix my LCD, i brought it up from Singapore. The guy have all the tools and materials in his hand. with in 30 min it got fixed.

UdayaKumar-( 9884227066 )Very nice guy hyeah: . he is having complete branded installations tool kits. he is installed my brand new 55 (140cm) EX720 Series BRAVIA Full HD 3D TV ... it fits the wall like anything . you can get some movable(rotatable) stands also with him. there is no scratch in my wall. they use branded drillers and screws. i am happily refer this person.

I also took Help from Udaykumar. He is really professional and good at mounting LCD on walls. He brings Bracket and Tools and completes the work in just 30 min.

i want to say thank to udayakumar, i got the number from this website and i called him. he came to my home and see the mounted LCD tv. and i suggest my option. he just un-removed my TV and fixed where i told. in just 15 min.

He promised to show up thrice and never did nor did he call to cancel or reschedule, not too professional..

Quoted 1000 to 4500 for wall mount, 300 for labor....did not seem to like the fact that I had my own mount

@toexchange: Wall mount bracket is costly in outside market you, should have got it with the TV. Check with some other people in the forum who have got the Sony TV. You may get details about the installation guys and depending on the TV model you can bargain with the installation guys.

Thanks for the tips and help - imported Google TV from US and did not bring even the table stand which looks cool (I did get a cheapo one from mount rd for 550 Delhi item Made in Korea seems will fit sony 46) will call alternate installers later this week.
