Hello,

Can any one suggest out of Sony w800c and Samsung ju6400 which one should I buy.
Screen size will be 55 inch n primarily watching contents from setup box.
Costing for Sony is 6k more than samsung.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi

It would be better if you could do an apple to apple comparison between both...meaning see both TVs running the same channels at the same time to get an idea of PQ (Picture Quality)....view the TV in all angles and distance and decide....

Ofcourse check the other factors in terms of sound out put, connectivity options, HDMI, features, audio in and out options...the most important...check warranty options and tenure...check if you have a service branch near you should something go wrong....

As for me, i did the apple to apple comparison at a Vijay Sales....and decided the TV i wanted, then went to my local electronics dealer who gave the same cheaper than online or a Vijay Sales with the same 3 years warranty....all the best....

I have been looking at 55 inch TV's myself. Where are you located?
W800C is the superior model from demos i have had.

Sony W800C:
1080p, 120Hz, 3D.
Not very bright, Colors change a bit on wide angles. Is android as the OS a Concern?

Samsung ju6400:
4K, 60Hz.
Motion handling issues (note that it is 55". I found motion artifacts easy to see, especially on such a big screen), Not so good blacks, not so good contrast

Thanks for the suggestion.

I have already compared the models . Sony has better picture quality than Samsung.
But the difference can be seen only because we are viewing both of them together.

Yes sony w800c picture quality is better than samsung ju6400.

Also with w800c remote needs to be bought separately.
Andriod Tv is not the issue.
Just wondering whether on dialy basis will i be able to see these differences minutely.

I am located in Malad,Mumbai.

Are you with Sony / Samsung only?

Panasonic 60C300DX has online deal for 90k. You can get demo in reliance digital in Infinity. May they can match prices.

If you are buying remotes, you are better of buying Logitech Harmony universal by shelling a bit more. I got one from US for 5K, and oh boy was I glad my Marantz remote got conked.

If you dont see any differences then go ahead. :)
Be sure to play a few different videos/channels and test it.

Reliance and chroma offered this at 90K at the store. IMO you should be able to bargain further at the store itself.

But I didnt like this TV much, quality was ok

Did u finalized/bought yourself 55"?

I don't want to buy that model of Panasonic as I am getting both Sony and Samsung within that range .

Hi Roxy,

Since you stay in Mumbai, go visit a Vijay Sales / Croma / E Zone / Kohinoor etc and check out the TVs....take your time....dont rush
