Help me in choosing a new tv, sony or LG

I have to choose between LG 32LN571B
SMART HD READY TV and SonyW600A.

I am confused as to go with which one.

LG had lot of smart options which I am not sure will be used for daily viewing.

Where as Sony display is very nice compared to LG.

I had a dell ultra book which I use for computing purpose.

So to use TV as TV should I go with Sony?

Please give me your valuable suggestions and help me make a good decision.

First decide on your actual requirements and the intended use, connectivity options, set top box, HD channels, Audio out etc etc....

Now comes the hardest part....nowadays TV manufacturers make TVs for money / competition and not for performance...the best branded TVs flat panels have failed just after a year of use....there are ample complaints and reviews over the internet....a simple google search will yield endless threads....

The most important thing is warranty...only 2 brands...Sharp and Toshiba offer 3 years warranty and have a good after sales network....don't purchase TVs online...you may run into the risk of bad delivery and damaged goods which some HFV members faced....

The key is decide your requirement, size, features and walk to a electronics store and compare TVs side by side....take your time...jot down the brands and models and check online for complaints or issues....There are special threads on HFV on Toshiba, Sharp, LG and Sony.

End of the day, it is what appeals to your budget, the performance and appearance...all the best.
