Hello Guys,

I am purchasing home theater and automation system for a dedicated media room in my house in Mumbai
I have received the following quote from the guy suggested by my architect which i feel are overpriced and way over my budget. Kindly look and suggest accordingly.

Home Theatre

Definitive Technology Procinema800 Speaker Set 5.1 - 95700
Definitive Technology Pro mount80 wall bracket[6] - 21900
Epson Projector 6100 Full HD - 124900
Elite Fixed Screen 110" - 85000
Denon AVR X2000 - 55900
Pioneer Blu-Ray Player BD150 - 18000
Altona Projector Mount - 4800

Automation:

Crestron QMI-RMC compact control processor - 85000
Crestron IRP2 IR Probes[5] - 20500
Crestron CLS-6MB 6-zone Lighting Controller - 89800
8 channel relay modular rated for 230VAC@10A using S-NET - 22500

Ive seen DT Cinemapro800 going for even 60-65k elsewhere. Please suggest cheaper alternatives as this is for home viewing and i would be shifting again in 3-4 years when my current home's redevelopment is complete.

1,18,000 for a satellite package with mounts??? Sorry, this sounds like daylight robbery. You can get a 5.1 HT with floorstanders with this money. Check with other dealers before committing anything to this guy.

Robbery with a briefcase, that is what this is. For example you can definitely get an Pioneer player for much less, as an example I imported my Pioneer BDP-51FD which is a more premium model at Rs 12,000.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
