Help!!!No picture only flashing lights on Samsung LED

Hello friends,

I am a new member of this forum and there is no hiding the fact that I registered here mainly due to the the current problem I am having with my LED set. Well everyone has a start.

I am having a Samsung LED UA40ES6200RXZN 40" 3D LED TV which is 15 months old, the problem has started 3 days back, when suddenly when I switched on the set, it was flashing basic colors on full screen but no picture & no sound, the rhythm of the colors was smooth and so was the vision of them, I mean the time period of each flash was same and the pattern of color flash was only same through out the past 2 days, like RED, GREEN, BLUE, WHITE, BLACK.

I left the set on for 30 mins and suddenly the picture & sound came back & the set was working normal as usual and worked for 2 hours before we slept. The next morning I switched on the set, the same problem came back to haunt me but this time the sound was playing. Please help.

I have tried to google every possible word related to the problem but couldn't find solution for my problem, thought of asking in the other international TV forums but saw HIFIvision (an Indian AV forum) so that this might be the best place to ask for help.

First of all, Dont panic. As we seen here, no tv/panel has long life as CRTs irrespective of brand. I'm not sure, could it be a panel or board problem.

Did you opt for extended warranty? if yes, call them and get it checked by them.

IF not, I think, you may get one now. enquire about extended warranty over ph and dont tell the about the problem now. opt for extended warranty then you could call them.

Meanwhile, our well known FMs can chime in & help u in other ways.
