Help on 5.1 channel setup

Hi guys,

I will buying a new plasma this year end. Currently I have 29 CRT with a dvd player. The current audio setup at my place is a 5.1 Artis sound system with 8 inch sub woofer.

I am happy with the current sound system except that at times the dialogs in the movie are not clear. The overall performance of this Artis system is good.

I went through one LG HTS model which has HDMI dvd player as well as 5.1 speaker system. Is it enough or I need to buy something like Onkyo 3200? My budget is mainly 15K (If I can squeeze dvd in that then nothing like it). Any suggestions on this front? My primary requirement for the 5.1 is for watching movies.

I have set my eyes on Philips 3366 for time being. It has HDMI upscaling dvd player as well with the 5.1 system. Onkyo is out of my budget as of now.
