We have a Samsung TV whose model number is PS43f4900ARLXL with DTS and DD 5.1 capabilities, what BASIC equipment would i need aside from Toshlink. And no Blu-ray player or DVD player is required.
My other thread was quite confusing to this one is simply put and my TV has optical out for digital audio and hdmi also but im looking forward to using the optical digital cable, I have placed an order for Philips 2512/94 5.1 DD HTIB to connect to my TV and play videos from HDD and have 5.1 output from the HTIB speakers but im also looking for DTS option. If u can, please do suggest any model which supports DTS under Rs 10,000 or a way to have the HTIB with DD 5.1 output DTS.
