Help setting up audio out on Bravia

Hey guys, I just got a new LED from Bangkok, the Sony 46" EX520. I have an Old Aiwa VCD player, but I have not let go of it because of it's amazing speakers. Now, previously I had a sony trintron wega, in which I had connected the speakers of the aiwa deck and the TV speakers and the Aiwa Speakers both would work. Now on this LED, I can't seem to get this setup working. The aiwa deck is as is, no changes. So it should work with this tv. I have connected the jacks at all the slots on the back, didn't work. There are some settings too, like
Setting: Option1/Option2
Speakers: TV Speakers/Audio Out
Headphone/Audio Out: Headphone/Audio System
Audio Out: Fixed/Variable.

Please help me out guys.
